Three Military troopers had been killed in an encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday, officers mentioned.
Safety forces launched a cordon and search operation within the greater reaches of the Halan forest space of Kulgam district in south Kashmir following inputs concerning the presence of terrorists there, a police official mentioned.
He mentioned the search operation became an encounter after the terrorists fired on the safety forces, who retaliated.
