Three folks have been killed after the bike they have been travelling by hit a truck coming from the other way close to Dummar Bridge on NH-31 beneath Kodha police station in Bihar’s Katihar district late on Sunday. They have been returning to their village in Barari in Katihar when the accident occurred.
The deceased have been recognized as Guddu Rishi, Sonu Choudhary and Akhilesh Rishi – all within the age group of 20-25 years, and residents of Bhaisdiara.
“Two individuals have been killed on the spot whereas the third one died throughout therapy at Gerabari main well being centre… The riders weren’t carrying helmets and died from the heavy blow they sustained on their heads,” station home officer (SHO) Alok Roy mentioned.
The SHO mentioned the police are analysing CCTV footage to establish the truck. “The accident occurred round 9pm,” he added.
