Rajouri/Jammu:
A terrorist was killed in an encounter with safety forces within the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, Further Director Basic of Police (ADGP), Jammu, Mukesh Singh mentioned.
The encounter began throughout a cordon and search operation by the police and the Military at Gundha-Khawas village within the Budhal space following details about the presence of terrorists there, officers mentioned.
They mentioned a number of gunshots had been heard from the besieged village and reinforcements had been rushed to the scene.
The ADGP mentioned in Jammu that the encounter was occurring.
“In keeping with suggestions from the bottom, one terrorist has been killed to date,” the officer mentioned.
